  • Be courteous at all times. You can get a lot more help from someone who knows you appreciate their help.
  • Please understand with the economy being the way it is many organizations are in desperate need of donations and volunteers.
  • If they are full and have a waiting list, please do get on their list. You never know, you may just need their services later on.
  • If they are unable to help you there, do ask if they know of any other resource available in the area.
  • Be sure to thank the person you speak with. They are often underpaid, if they are paid at all. Also, they are more likely to remember and help you next time.
