Before Visiting Your Housing Authority or Support Center

  • First, give them a call using the contact information we have provided.
  • Get the name of the person you contact and write it down.
  • Many housing authorities and government agencies are short staffed and in need of volunteers.
  • There may be long waiting lists for assistance, so be sure you get on the lists as early as possible.
  • If the person you contact cannot help, be sure to ask who may be able to help you.
